TOTAL READ TIME: 2 Minutes

It happened on accident. I meant to close this blog today, then I realized it already happened.  My last article entitled “When You Give A Human a Pan” was an accidental summary of my writing story over the last six years.

So where to now?

My creative expressions are evolving, like it is supposed to. What happened through these 2 Minute Lifts was a journey to leave behind the external world, go inside and rest at home in the center of our heart.

Once we are nestled into every cell of our body, when we lift our head up and out, the world will look different. It’s supposed to. When we change the relationship with our self, all other relationships change too. New ones come in, old ones go out, some get closer and some fade.

What I’m offering is a calibration between our inner and outer as we continue to grow. To do this, I’ve leaned on the Buddhist principle that everyone is our mother. Even if you don’t believe in reincarnation, imagine for a second. Reflect on the possibility that through infinite lifetimes on earth, whether as an insect, a bird, a dolphin or a human, that everyone at some point was under the care of a loving mother. That means that every sentient being could have been our mother, loving us into existence.

As a final invitation, I ask you: “Who are all the people who loved you into being?” *

Take a minute two minutes (a head nod to these 2 Minute Lifts), and think about all of the people who loved you into being. May this help you walk a little softer, like it has for me.

Thank you for reading and enjoying these contemplations over the past few years. My heart is full and grateful for you.

With Compassionate Lovingkindness,

Kathy
